Occasionally Stan or Danica or I will decide in advance what should go into the secret compartment, but usually, we realize that it’s time to shoot the open letter and that we have nothing for the secret compartment, which leads to a mad dash into the “props room” (a small area behind the stage).
Because the studio is usually used for, like, modeling shoots and not educational video, there are a lot of items not appropriate for the secret compartment in the props room—like bikinis, for instance—but we can usually find something.
